Watch that thermostat
Every degree increase in winter and decrease in summer can add an extra 10% extra to your energy use. We recommend operating at 22′ in winter and 24′ in summer.

Keep those filters clean
Remember to hose out your filter once a month for high use systems and once every three months for low to moderate use systems. Handy hint – hose the clean side first then the other side to prevent pushing dust into the filter.

Don’t forget about your outdoor unit
Keep it clean and clear from obstructions, if 10% of your outdoor condenser is blocked you will lose 10% efficiency inside.

Close Doors
Close doors to those zones not being used in your home.

Before turning on, perhaps open up the front and back door / windows for 10 minutes and flush out that hot stale air before starting you system.
