Hi everyone, just a quick post to let everyone know that Daikin stock in Perth is back to normal levels for the Daikin dealer network. For those  that don’t know Daikin and hundreds of other companies have been experiencing supply issues due to the devastating earth quakes and tsunami in Japan earlier in the year. Daikin experienced some supply issues and at one stage it was forecast to not be fully recovered until February of 2012 that has been brought forward and we are told all product lines are now available from mid July 2011 going forward, I met with the head of Daikin Australia personally last week who delivered the news first hand. This is great news and a great example of an industry leading company delivering outstanding results after such a tragic time. Our thoughts and wishes are still with the rebuilding of Japan (they had much more serious issues to deal with than our petty one), but with this as an example they are obviously moving forward in leaps and bounds.

Stinson Air is helping Perth kids to be cool!! – (and warm in these chilly months!!) Stinson Air have recently completed projects to air condition several classrooms, staff rooms and art and music rooms at Newman College High School and Primary School in Churchlands as well as Floreat Pre Primary in Floreat. Stinson Air have recently added vehicle tracking to its full fleet of ute’s and vans, all vehicles can be monitored by satellite and the system offers a range of benefits, we can schedule service reminders, tyre inspection reminders, keep an eye on fuel consumptions to detect maintenance issues early and a range of other features. We also see it as a massive benefit for our customer service to more efficiently get sales and design consultants to in home consultations, e.g. if a new client requests a quote and if at a the touch of a button we see that a consultant is in your area we can divert them your way. Also from a service point of view the same benefits can be enjoyed. We are delighted with the new system and even picked up the contract to air condition the offices of the vehicle tracking company.
