Inverter Power Control –
advanced air conditioning technology
The amount of cooling required by an air conditioner will vary depending on the outdoor temperature and the amount of heat in the room.
Conventional air conditioners operate their compressors at a fixed speed and therefore deliver a fixed amount of cooling power. As a result, the compressor must continually stop and start to maintain the desired room temperature. Inverter driven compressors, on the other hand, vary the speed of the compressor, delivering precise cooling power as required.
When the compressor operates at a high speed, the amount of refrigerant flow through the system increases the cooling capacity. Conversely, when the compressor operates at a low speed (during lower outside temperatures for example), the amount of refrigerant flowing through the system decreases, thus decreasing the cooling capacity.
The advantages are up to 40% savings in energy costs and less temperature fluctuations.
Reverse Cycle
Reverse cycle systems are refrigerated systems with a reversing valve that changes the direction the refrigerant gas travels in your system. So, when in heating mode, instead of that hot air being pumped outside it is used inside. There is more to reverse cycle systems than just that. As well as heating and cooling, they have a “dry mode” which is great for dehumidifying when those summer days get a bit “sticky” and a fan mode which is great for circulating the air while cleaning it on milder days.
Daikin’s ‘F-Series’ Split Systems
The advanced FTXG-F series achieves a new simplicity, combining high performance with a stylish compact form in a mere 150 mm deep housing. The F-Series employs a DC converter inverter, Titanium apatite photocatalytic air-purifying filter, and unique cutting-edge technologies.
The refreshingly simple front panel is exquisitely styled and discreet. It blends in with any type of room without affecting the interior decor.
Advantage Air’s Zone 10 Control System
Advantage Air’s Zone 10 Control System has capabilities for up to 10 zones to be electronically controlled using a damper system. Most standard systems only have a generic controller with 3-4 zones and are stuck with a constant zone that constantly dumps air whilst the system is on without any control. With Zone 10, a series of electronic default constants are built in to ensure that you can’t close off too many zones, negating the need for a permanent dumping zone. These clever constants are there to give you total control over your homes’ air conditioning, but also serve to reduce energy wastage. All of this controlled through a sharp, intuitive touch screen.Zone 10 works with virtually all air conditioning brands.
Daikin’s Intelligent Eye – uses infrared technology for even more energy savings!
Forget about setting your air conditioner – the intelligent eye gives you total comfort control. The intelligent eye is an infrared sensor with the ability to sense human movement in a room. It is the same type of sensor which is often used in automatic doors and lights. When you are in the room, the air conditioner operates normally, but after you go out, the intelligent eye automatically changes to an energy saving mode.
Daikin’s Photocatalytic Air Purifier
This system has been developed using nanotechnology to absorb viruses and bacteria for removal. It’s large airflow and suction system also breaks down odour and cleans the air using the photo catalytic power. It’s great for allergy and hay fever sufferers and very popular in the medical and health industries.
Daikin’s i-text – control your air temperature from your mobile phone
Daikin’s i-text allows you to be in control wherever you go. Come home to a perfectly comfortable temperature simply by using your mobile phone. i-text allows you to switch your air conditioner on or off, select your ideal temperature or check current settings – all via text message. For peace of mind it texts you back to confirm your instructions have been carried out.
