Installation Process

Our air conditioning process opens with a conversation that continues right up to the moment we handover a completely quality controlled air conditioning system that you feel confident to operate.

Beyond handover, we are always available to answer any questions and provide timely, complete after sales service and support.

Refine your air conditioning design

We start by designing your air conditioning system with two key things in mind:

  • Finding the perfect fit for your lifestyle and budget
  • Maximising that system’s capacity to deliver peak performance

New home builders – we love to talk to you before construction begins. This helps us work in sync with architects and builders to integrate and install your system. We invite you to visit one of our showrooms for a complimentary design consultation.
Established property owners  – we love to visit you for a complimentary on site consultation to identify and advise on your best air conditioning installation options.

Consider our proposal

We’ll provide detailed drawings and a plan based on the design conversation. The proposal will list any special requirements for builders of new homes and show how we’ve customised an air conditioning system to meet your exact needs.

If you have any questions at this stage, our team is here to answer them.

Finalise the plan

Let’s customise. If there any changes or upgrades you would still like to make, now is the time. On acceptance of your agreement if you are building we will also finalise your plans with any changes or detailing as required for your builder.

Install your system

New homes installation

For new homes installation generally happens in three stages, and is integrated into the overall construction process:

Prelay – this ‘first fit’ makes up around 70% of your install. It happens once the roof is on and includes, your fan coil unit, ducting and preliminary refrigerant piping and wiring

Diffusion fit off – once the ceilings are painted, we install all ceiling and wall diffusers and return air grilles

Condenser and controls – your home is 99% finished with paving and power to your switchboard. Now we install your outside condenser unit and controller(s) and test the system ready for handover

Established properties

For established properties, air conditioning installation will take one to two days. Our expert schedulers and site supervisors will coordinate the five or six trades needed to complete the ducting, refrigeration and electrical work.

Handover a superb system

Your site supervisor will inspect and test every last detail of the system’s installation and operation right down to the pristine cleanliness of its surroundings.  The results of this 28 Point Quality Control Check are fed directly from the supervisor’s iPad to our database. If anything needs sorting we are straight onto it.

We also offer you a complimentary on site handover to show you how your system operates and to explain its capacities and maintenance requirements.

Finally we invite you to complete our customer survey to let us know how we did and help us do even better.
